Our particular method of cold pressed oil is recognized for its sweet flavour and powerful nutty taste. A chefs regular, our hazelnut oil is utilized as a dressing in numerous exotic salads along with other cold dishes.
How to use:
- Great for breakfasts like muesli, yoghurt and smoothies, just add a teaspoon or two.
- Drizzle a teaspoon over a fresh fruit salad (this is surprising!)
- Toss together a green leafy salad with apple, peach or mango then drizzle with a Hazelnut Oil and Verjus dressing
- Add to rice, cous cous or mashed potato.
- Drizzled over beetroot, sweet potato or fresh apple before baking
- Add a tablespoon to chocolate desserts or hot milk drinks.
- Add flavour to sweets like cookies, cakes, and pastries.
Our Hazelnut Oil is made by cold pressing 100% Australian grown hazelnuts in a 300 year old artisan extraction method which produces a sweet nutty flavour and top nutritional qualities.

At The Artisan Mill we strive to support Aussie farmers through our social enterprise community mill. Hazelnuts from all our Australian farmers are pressed and bottled under a central label "The Artisan Mill" to raise funds for small farms and families. Hazelnuts from our local regions of Stanely, Mitta Mitta, Gippsland along with Tasmania are collected and pressed in small batches.
